2025 Ends with a delivery of a new 4th generation WWTU to the drillship Globetrotter 1, working in Bulgaria, s Black Sea waters.
OTS are happy that the client choosed our Technology for this project, cleaning of Slop water on Globetrotter I. This is a campaign for 2-3 Wells, and could even be longer if operator decide to explore more in this area. OTS will operate the WWTU with experience personel , with help from our client when needed. There has been conducted a survey prior to install any equipment onboard the drillship, this to prevent any unforseen problems under installation.
About Waste Water Treatment:
Waste Water Treatment is a process used to remove contaminantes from waste water and convert it into an effluent that can be returned to the water cycle with no impact to the environment ,or reused for various purposes ( called water reclamation ). The treatment process takes place in a waste water treatment unit , (OTS WWTU ), pollutants in waste water are removed, converted or broken down during the treatment process. OTS Continoues to develop state of the art systems for a better environment. The cleaning of the slop is done true our 4th generation WWTU, witch is a Mechanical separation system requiering no Chemicals to clean the slop water. The fluid is run true a Decanter and then true a Guard filter, prior to entering the disc stack for separation of oil and water. Oil is sent back to holdingtank for reuse on the rig if poosible. The water fase is sent true the Oil guard filters to Ensure that the oil in water disharge requierments is met. The unit capacity is 20m3/hr , with 15% solids , oil in disharge water below 5 ppm , no Chemicals added in the process.
